Update of results

Well I have to say initial reactions to mobile blogging is quite difficult for a number of reasons.

Using a fiddly touchscreen keyboard on the iPhone while on the go is not ideal, while the wordpress applet is fantastic. The camera in the iPhone is less than adequate, even with the touch screen focus. It just cannot handle light very well! Obviously I am not expecting professional results from such a device (it would be cruel at best to call it only a phone!), but better quality would be nice. This leads nicely onto the public perception of a press person taking photos on something that does not have a lens that resembles a bazooka. Needless to say writing style is crippled, as the updates are designed to be as quick and painfree as possible. (Hence this post is a little more flowing, written on my laptop in the media centre, where the staff are extremely friendly and helpful!)

The weather is second to none, it really could not be better, the showing classes are well attended, and the standard is very high, the jumping both national and international is intense, and the crowds have arrived in droves.

Shane Breen has just won the Speed Derby (International Competition No.4), second was Cian O Connor.
